Morrowind lies in eastern Tamriel. It is home to the Dunmer, the isle of Vvardenfell, as well as Red Mountain, the largest volcano on the continent.
Cities of Morrowind include Blacklight, Gnisis, Dagon Fel, Firewatch, Sadrith Mora, Balmora, Seyda Neen, Vivec, Necrom, Mournhold, Narsis, and Tear.

In the southeast lies the dangerous and mysterious swamplands of Black Marsh, home of the Argonians, Hist trees, wamasu, and dreugh.
Cities of Black Marsh include Stormhold, Thorn, Helstrom, Gideon, Archon, Soulrest, Blackrose, and Lilmoth.

Located in southern Tamriel, between the provinces of Black Marsh and Valenwood. Elsweyr is home to the Khajiit. The northern half of this province is a great, dry desert, while the southern half shares in a rich, lush jungle forest.
Cities of Elsweyr include Dune, Riverhold, Orcrest, Rimmen, Corinthe, Torval, and Senchal.

Valenwood is a large, forested area in the southwest of Tamriel. It is home to the Bosmer, or Wood Elves.
Cities of Valenwood include Arenthia, Falinesti, Silvenar, Woodhearth, Greenheart, Elden Root, Southpoint, and Haven.

Summerset Isle is off the southwest coast of Tamriel, and is home to the proud and powerful Altmer. Part of the province includes the neighboring isle of Auridon; both islands are a great paradise, filled with beauty and wonder, though they are not without danger.
Cities of the Summerset Isles include Firsthold, Lillandril, Cloudrest, Skywatch, Shimmerene, Alinor, Sunhold, and Dusk.

Home to the Redguards, Hammerfell holds the great Alik'r Desert, and is a great province of western Tamriel.
Cities of Hammerfell include Dragonstar, Skaven, Blinhir, Sentinel, Hegathe, Gilane, Taneth, and Rihad. Off the southern coast lies the island city of Stros M'Kai.

Located in the far northwest of Tamriel is the province of High Rock. It is home to the Bretons, and is also the location of the oldest structure in Tamriel, the Adamantine Tower.
Cities of High Rock include Farrun, Telhana, Northpoint, Evermor, Shornhelm, Wayrest, Camlorn, and Daggerfall.

The realm of Hircine, this plane is a haven for hunters, particularly werewolves.

The Plane of Azura. Moonshadow is a place of blinding beauty with fantastic waterfalls, flowers, trees, colors, and perfumed winds.

The Plane of Hermaeus Mora. Apocrypha is a vast library. Pages blow on an unfelt wind, and there are millions of books, each of which has a black cover and no title. Contained within is all forbidden knowledge.

The Plane of Malacath. Ashpit is a realm filled endlessly with dust and shades of gray. Each speck of ash represents anguish, betrayal, and broken promises.

The Plane of Mehrunes Dagon. The Deadlands are a vast sea of lava dotted with charred islands. The islands are covered with ruined bridges, towers, caves, and dangerous plants.

The Plane of Molag Bal. Coldharbor is a dark, twisted mirror image of Tamriel, where the ground is nothing but sludge, the sky is on fire, and the air is deadly cold. In the center lies a replica of the Imperial Palace, which is filled with blood and corpses.

The Plane of Sheogorath. Also known as the Madhouse, the Shivering Isles are a verdant place filled with many wonders and dangers. It is divided into two parts: bright and colorful Mania to the north, and dark and dreary Dementia to the south. In the west of the Isles lies the city of New Sheoth, divided into Bliss, Crucible, and the Palace.

The Plane of Vaermina. Quagmire is an ever-shifting plane of nightmares. Its appearance constantly changes to more terrible images as the visitors worst nightmares are made real.
