Pyros smiled, it was citizens like these he was sworn to protect, it was his honor to do so. He returned his attention to his audience, "Basically we are going to cripple the Thalmor, although I cannot promise you that we all will come home. I can promise honor, fortune, and many other things." Pyros told them. "Plus anything that is stolen from them is ours, after all we are at war so it isn't punishable. Their country is a goldmine ripe for the takings." He added glancing at Jasmine with a devilish grin. "So what so you? Will you come with me? Will you serve the Empire?" Pyros asked them.

Lyra hurried about her chores, cleaning rooms and making beds and serving dinners. She rushed back and forth, hardly paying attention to the world around her she was so focused on her tasks. She bumped into a tall argonian on the patio, as she moved from one task to the other. "Oomph." She looked up and her eyes widened. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bother you all again," she said, looking away and hiding her face. "I honestly didn't plan on it."

Pyros smiled at the busy Nord woman, "Have you ever wanted to escape this life? Have you ever wondered if there was more then just...this? More then busing tables, and cleaning shops?" Pyros asked her "You are a loyal and hard worker, here go do better then this." Pyros said as he slipped her his months wages, which was nearly two thousand septiums. He could afford it seeing that he had saved more then that in his safe box, which looked no more then a hallowed out stump near the edge of the Imperial Waterfront. "Go and invest that wisely, you can do better then servitude, I would wish to see you prosper." Pyros said as he helped the woman collect her things and be off. "And if you need anything, just ask, my name carries weight with the guards, just ask them for Pyros Dracotail and I will be at your service." He said to her as he stood up.

Lyra's face paled at the sum of money in her hands. "Oh, sir, I can't accept this!" she nearly screamed at him. "This is too much." In truth, she had possessed close to that amount before she was forced to leave Skyrim, but things were expensive in the Imperial City, and it cost her a fair amount to even reach the city. Once she was there, she hadn't learned fast enough how to wisely spend her money. Now, she was struggling just to break even. But with another two thousand septims, she could invest it, pay off loans, and buy new equipment. "Thank you so much," she said as she collected her things. She paused. It would be foolish to quit her job just because she had some money. She would be repeating her mistakes. "I can't leave just yet," she told Pyros. "I'll still need a job. This is all I have after quitting the Arena."

"Keep the money, I have no need for it." Pyros said with a kind smile. "My job is to prosper the Empire, think of this as an investment into its future if you must." He continued. "Plus were I am going septiums are worthless." Pyros said with a laugh as he sat down at the table and stared at the Nord woman. "How queer, she has no racist terms to use against me. And by her accent I can tell she is not from here." Pyros thought to himself.
