Silas gazed at all the busy people in Cyrodiil. It had been months since he had been here, and it seemed more crowded than before. Keeping to himself, he walked about, trying to get to his old home. With the massive crowd, he was having a hard time. His trained eyes helped him dodge crates and supplies that were being moved all over the place.
"Pretty necklace for your pretty girlfried!" A merchant tried to sell an odd looking necklace to Silas. Silas shook his head and continued onward. He wondered if the Blades would get him another assignment, but until then, he just wanted to take a break for a few days. He only hoped that something exciting would happen soon.
OOC: Are the Blades centered in Cyrodiil?

OOC: I would say yes. One of their strongholds is Cloud Ruler Temple, which is slightly north of Bruma, Cyrodiil. Since you didn't name a city you're in at the moment, I'll say this is taking place in the Imperial City...busiest place ever. lol
Jasmine left The Best Defense with about a dozen daggers of assorted styles in her bag. Luckily, the shop had been busy and no one had even noticed her lifting them. The took in the cool early evening air, knowing the shops were going to start closing soon. She spied a few street peddlers hawking their wares at passers by. She walked up close to a jeweler and admired the items he had displayed. "Oh, that's a beautiful ring!" she said, pointing at a silver ring set with amethysts. She'd seen a million others like it and had fenced most of them. What she actually had her eyes on was a strange amulet he was showing off. "Oh yes," the jeweler said with a smile. "And I'm sure it would look even more lovely on your hand." Jasmine reached over, appearing to want to take a closer look, and "accidentally" knocked it off the stand. "I'm sorry!" she said, "I'm such a klutz." The merchant looked at her with an annoyed expression and bent down to retrieve it. Which he was preoccupied, she grabbed the amulet and slipped it in her pocket. "I should just be on my way." She started to walk away, but suddenly she spotted a city guard running toward her. "Stop thief!" he was yelling. Jasmine cursed herself for not being more careful and took off running, bumping into an armored man walking by as she started looking for cover. She wanted to conserve her magic, but if she had to, she would use her invisiblity spell.

OOC: Yeah...don't know the cities yet...lol
"Whoa!" Silas felt something hit him on the side. Glancing over, he looked down at a woman. "Are you all right?" He asked, looking at her to see if she needed help. He glanced around as he heard shouts coming near them. He looked at Jasmine, wondering what was going on.

OOC: The map I shared should have all the cities listed on them. In Cyrodiil there's the Imperial City, Chorrol, Bruma, Cheydinhal, Bravil, Leyawiin, Skingrad, Kvatch, and Anvil, plus a few random settlements, most of which I don't remember. lol
"Excuse me!" Jasmine told the man again, then stopped for a moment. The guards were a fair distance away. She considered, then handed him her bag quickly, slipping the amulet inside a side pocket. "Here, hold this stuff for me, will you? I'll be back for it. Guard it with your life!" Then she turned and made her way into the Arena District of the city, with more than a dozen guards on her tail, completely oblivious to the fact that she'd just handed off her stolen goods. Once she was sufficiently away from the guy with her stuff, she held up her hands. "All right! You caught me! I'll pay my fine." "Good," a guard said. Jasmine rolled her eyes at his nasty glare. "We'll just escort you down to the prison. I'll take any stolen goods you have, you can pay off your bounty and then you'll be free to go." She knew the whole drill. Very early in her thieving career, she'd been caught numerous times. *** Once her fine was paid, Jasmine made her way back to the Market District, looking around for the guy. She hoped he hadn't given her goods back to the guards. If she was right about the amulet, it was sure to fetch her a high price with the local fence.

"Uh...okay." Silas replied, confused. She would trust a stranger with her things? Well, he supposed that she was lucky that she found him; upon his honor he would not steal. He watched her speed off, wondering what was going on. Someone else pumped into him, causing him to turn around as the guards ran after Jasmine, making him unaware that they were after her. He quickly turned around once they left. "This place sure did get busy since I've been here..." He muttered. He looked at the bag, unsure what to do. He groaned. He would have to stick around this place until she came back.
Idling for most of his day, Silas waited for the girl to come back. Spotting an outside tavern, Silas made way and sat down, ordering mead while he waited for Jasmine to return.
OOC: Yeah I know, I meant like what they looked like. =/ Be patient I'm still learning! lol.

OOC: Haha, I could record a tour for you. I have the means. ;D
Jasmine spotted the guy outside a tavern, and who would believe it? He still had her stuff. She walked up behind him and grabbed the bag. "Thank you so much," she told him, taking a seat next to him. She looked through the bag for a moment or two, finding that her daggers were all still there, along with her other loot from the day's activity. Then she pulled out the amulet. It was a rather unique piece, a bright gold with several stones, and runes etched along the edges she recognized as daedric. She wondered how high a price it would fetch. Speaking of which, she would have to get rid of this hot merchandise soon, or the guards might catch on to her again. But for now, she was hungry, and thirsty. She gestured toward the barkeeper. "I'll have some venison chop, grilled leeks, and some Surrille Brothers' Wine," she ordered. Then she turned to her tablemate. "So what brings you to the busy Imperial City?" she asked him.

OOC: lol if you like to. =)
Silas glanced up from his drink when Jasmine sat down. He was surprised at first, but nodded at her thanks. "You are welcome. Although, I must say, I am surprised at how trusting you are." He told her as she rifled through her things. He didn't look inside the bag; that would be dishonorable, despite his curiosity. "You seem to have valuable items." He mentioned a finger at the amulet that she pulled out. "You shouldn't flaunt that so easily. I'm sure a lot of people would kill for that. Daedric's are highly wanted." He commented on the amulet. He rose his eyebrow as she began to order. She was staying? He shrugged. Sure, he could use some company. "I will have the same." He ordered too, feeling his stomach gurgling for food. Silas smiled. This woman was really trusting. "Visiting my home before I have to be sent away again." He took a sip of his mead. "And of you, my friend? Why the random tossing of items and running? Many would be suspicious of such actions." He paused. "Forgive, I forget to introduce myself. I am Silas Taurinus."

OOC: I would. lol. Would you like commentary, or no?
Jasmine glanced at Silas while she studied the amulet. She wished she could read the daedric script so she might know its significance. "I'm sure many would kill for it, but I think they would be hard-pressed to get it from me. I have ways of keeping things that I value." She wrapped the amulet in a cloth and placed it carefully in her bag. She considered Silas' question for a moment as her cover story sprung from her lips on its own accord. "I'm a travelling merchant," she told him, relaxing in her chair. "I came here to the Imperial City to deal with some of the best shop keepers around. Oh yes, and my name is Jasmine. It is a pleasure to meet you, Silas." She looked him over for a few moments. "What line of work are you in?" she asked.

Pyros was leaning against a post of the tavern reading documents as he finished his meal. "Arrest documents show that the girl is a thief and a damned good one at that." He thought as he walked up to the pair and gave a warm Argonian smile. "Hello there, I am Pyros Dracotail and I have a job offer for the two of you." He told them as he turned to scan the man that sat across from the woman. "And I know it will interest you." He said with a sly smirk.

OOC: I would love commentary. The funnier the better. lol
Silas nodded as Jasmine explained her profession. "Well, keep that item safe." He suggested as she told him her name. "The pleasure and honor is mine, Jasmine." He gave her a smile. "I am a warrior for the Imperial Army and I travel about in hopes to keep peace and protect those who are in need." He replied, not wanting to go into detail about the Blades.
Their converstation was then interrupted by a man nearby. He studied this Pyros, but was rather annoyed that he was supposedly eavesdropping on their converstation. "Good day to you, Pyros Dracotail." Silas replied as he considered the man's words. An eyebrow rose. He did not take outside jobs, but was curious. "And praytell, why do you think it would be an interest to myself and my friend here?" He asked, scanning the man as he had just scanned him.

"Our cause is similar, but until recently I haven't been able to speak of it without penalty of death. I am on a mission that requires a certain skill set, one that your friend here possesses. I am required to make a strike on five Thalmor targets, two of which are simple a smuggler and a assassin. However, the next three are more difficult and the Thalmor knows of our plans, the mole has been dealt with and hung for his crimes, one is a high ranking Thalmor officer, the other is a Thalmor researcher close to producing a new type of magical weapon, and the last is a Thalmor politician who is coming close to making Valenwood pull from the Empire and join their cause. However, I am part of an elite guard, founded after the champion of cyrodil's death, and made up of two of each race, one male and one female selected from noble houses only. They are the finest warriors, mages, or rogues of their lands. But enough about me." Pyros explained with a smile. "The real question is where did you get those blades? And what is your name?" Pyros asked politely eyeing his daedric shortswords

Lyra hurried from her job at the shop. It was closed, now, and her shift at the inn would be starting soon; she'd been late every day this week and couldn't explain why. She let out a long breath, pushing her way through the crowds of people still littering the streets. "Thank you!" she growled as a man bumped into her, pushing against barrels and continuing on his way. She checked her money purse and dagger, both of which were still there. You could never be too careful with cutpurses and thieves running about. Shaking her head and calming herself, she continued on her. "Oomph!" She was pushed aside again, this time up against the railing of an outdoor tavern. She looked over at the group she had interrupted. "I'm sorry," she said, smiling at the man and the woman seated with him, then raising an eyebrow at the Argonian. It was rare to see them acting so officially.

OOC: Kk, Will get to work on that. I'll try to upload it to my photobucket, but if there's some sort of file size limit, it'll be on my youtube. Jasmine sat and listened as the Argonian introduced himself. She was friends with more than a few of the lizard people among the Thieves Guild. Plenty of Khajiit among them as well, so she was comfortable with Pyros. However, the manner in which he conducted himself was more official than she was used to for those people. She glanced casually at the lizard when he mentioned that he had a job that could use her talents. Her expression tightened ever so slightly, and she sensed he knew that shew as a thief. However, as he wasn't reporting her to any guards and in fact seemed to be talking about hiring her, she decided to listen. She wouldn't mention her true profession, though, unless it became absolutely necessary. She would probably consider it, though. If she was working for the officials, it would likely mean protection from arrest and detainment.

Lyra smiled at the Argonian. He was quite strange. "No, sir, I didn't make this food," she said. "I don't work this part. I work for the inn and cook the food for those guests." Which reminded her, she really needed to get going or she was going to be late. Again. "I'm really sorry I interrupted, but I need to go or I'm going to be late. Excuse me." Lyra hurried away, running around the corner and through the door in the back. She hoped the owner wouldn't notice her tardiness as she tied an apron around her waist and slipped in amongst the other workers.
