Velir smiled, handing his empty mug to a barmaid. "My story isn't all that interesting," he admitted, watching the Imperial soldier cautiously; he didn't trust Imperials. "I spend most of my time wandering Skryim, collecting on the odd bounty. This last target was a werewolf, though not nearly as fearsome as 'The Gray'. No, this one stood only about nine feet tall and was covered in thick fur and muscle. I tracked her for several days. When she shifted on the full moon, I sighted my bow on her and released the shaft." He paused a moment, remembering that night. The cool breeze, the clear sky. "But I only grazed her. The next night, I approached her camp and apologized for my uncivilized behavior. We had dinner, then went out separate ways." Velir called for another mug of mead, then raised it in a toast. "To that brave woman, who faced the disease within her and turned it to do some good."

"She will lose her grip on sanity as well, the Bosmer speaks true. Outside of Hircine's will and a pack leadership every werebeast slowly succumbs to the animal within them. Killing the beast could have saved lives, allowing her to walk freely could have been a foolish mistake." Pyros told Velir quickly as he waited patiently for Jolfried and Elduin. "However, that compassion is admirable Dumner, keep it alive within you with it your allies and enemies will respect your honor and valor." He continued.
Elduin didn't like the Argonian commander standing behind him, Elite guard or not he wasn't willing to bend to the Empire's will, at least for free. If he knew who he was then he would know what he charged for his skill set. "Tell me Argonian, what is your name? I know the guard you represent is made up of two of each race, one of each sex, what house or clan do you come from?" Elduin asked the Argonian.
Pyros glanced down at Elduin with disgust, he needed the Bosmer's skills but that is as far as his need for him went. "I am Pyros, from the noble house of Dracotail, Spellblade from Archon, Protector of Black Marsh, and Member of the Elite Guard. Is that all you require, scum?" Pyros told Elduin with a hint of distaste in his voice. "I already know you two." He told Jolfried and Elduin. "You are Jolfried Battle-born, supporter of the Empire and skilled with a Warhammer. And you are Elduin, your more shadowy exploits make you a prime candidate for this project. Don't be surprised I have access to documents containing your information, and Joldfried I have had scouts follow you for purposes we will speak of more privately." Pyros told them.

Velir rolled his eyes. "Imperials," he muttered under his breath, turning to the others. "Forgive me for ignoring you. That was rather rude of me. A round on me?" Velir smiled and ordered more drinks for his new acquaintances. He sighed, though. Had it been foolish to let the werewolf live? His heart agreed with his actions, but some logical part of his mind kept scolding him for not doing what needed to be done. A werewolf on the loose was dangerous and wild. But this woman wasn't wild. She was fully in control. Velir had watched her shift in front of a group, then just stand there as the others turned their backs and walked away. He'd seen her come across a small house, peak in the window, then leave, after tossing a bucket of feed to the chickens. He'd seen her help a man surrounded by a pair of bears, then leave calmly. "She was no monster," he told himself, and he felt better.

Pyros noted the Dunmer's reaction, he had heart, it was a quality he used to gave as well but inbetween the training he endured with the shadowscales, then his personal training for what his destiny held, and then the training the elite guard put him through his own sense of being was almost gone. "Be careful identifying all imperials as one, some of us have been placed in positions they do not wish to be in." Pyros told Velir angrily before calming his emotions as he had been taught and sitting down at full attention. "Well if you will not leave the table I will discuss this topic openly. I have been assigned five Thalmor targets, two of which will be easy enough. The other three are either high ranking military officers or a politician, the empire has deemed them too great of a threat to allow to live, they must be eliminated. Which is why I am collecting the best of the best from thieves, to assassins, to smugglers, to mages, to warriors. We will need your services and skill sets to ensure success. Will you join me?" He asked the group.
